Leah's first yoga experience in Boulder...

i went to my first class this morning at Om Time in Boulder. I was late for centering because I didn't realize that I would have to pay for parking.

it was probably the smallest class I've been to in a long time. I'm so used to practicing in a room with 40 plus people it seemed a little strange to have so much room...and a mirror in front of me. I've actually never seen myself in a pose before today...

the class was a little less challenging than I would have liked. and I was at times confused with the teachers use of sanskrit. She kept calling Urdhva Hastasana- Tadasana. And rather than the usual sun salutations we did this thing she kept calling Ganesh Namaskar. It's probably good for me to learn and try new things...though I do look forward to walking in to a class and just doing a good ole sun a or b for the first ten minutes of class...


We're off to see the new terminator movie...I'll be trying a different class at Om Time tomorrow and we might be stopping by the fat tire festival going on tomorrow.
