Today was a long day.

I knew the 4 day drive was going to be aggressive. But, the sooner we got to Colorado, the better. I-70 is a easy drive. For the most part, it's flat plains with farmland on both sides of the highway. Today, we traveled through Indianapolis, Indiana and St.Louis, Missouri. Being too tired, we decided to skip seeing the Arch in St. Louis and decided to take I-270 around St. Louis. We were able to see the Arch to the South in a haze far in the distance.

We trudged on for another 3 hours before we arrived at our hotel. Here lies the problem. As we got off the exit from 70, I had added the hotel address into the GPS, no problem. Tired and hungry, we were ready to get some rest, but the GPS kept sending us in circles!! I decided to pull into some parking lot and call the hotel. They told me it was the right address, but the hotel changed from a La Quinta to a Ramada! So...we headed over now knowing the correct name and checked in.

We got Mr. Naughty and Blanche all set up in the hotel room and headed over to Fridays (ehhhh) and ate a quick bite. So here we are, 11 pm Central Time. Tomorrow is a new day. We'll be driving to Hays, Kansas, about a 7 hour drive. At least it's a little shorter of a drive.
