The countdown to our first CSA delivery of fresh produce...

We joined the Grant Family Farms CSA before moving out to Boulder, and we can't wait for June 15th to pick up our first installment of this seasons fresh produce. We bought a working share for produce (mostly veggies) and a small fruit share for the year. We moved out west, Boulder, CO specifically to make life simpler, and to make a better effort at taking care of ourselves-- by immersing ourselves in the outdoors ie riding bikes, running, walking, whatever it takes-- and by eating more real food.

And how timely that tonight we happened to catch the Colbert Report tonight and guest Eric Schlosser, promoting the new movie Food, Inc.. It's debuting in theaters in NY and LA June 12th and the closest it's coming to us is Colorado Springs on July 3rd. If by some chance neither of us has no form of employment by then-- we'll totally be there. If you haven't heard of it...check it out. (Eric Schlosser is the author of Fast Food Nation, a book that Jamie and I often pick up over and over again.)

In other news...Jamie and I went to the fitness center again today because the weather here is still not so great. Thunderstorms in the forecast again for tomorrow afternoon-- so we're really going to try and get out early and ride on a new trail tomorrow. I want to be able to ride or run almost everyday and maybe even do yoga too. I attempted to go to a vinyasa class at Yoga Pod today-- but was held up by a strange crashing train situation on Pearl Street.
