I can say we have quickly thrown ourselves into the Boulder bike scene. And yesterday was no exception.
The day started out volunteering at the Lyons Outdoor Games

It was a lot of fun. Leah came with me and helped out as well.We mainly explained what BMA was all about, handed out some flyers and chatted. After we were done volunteering, we walked across the street, the Oskar Blues, a local Brewery/Restaurant for some lunch. We then headed home to take a nap before we headed to the next bike event, the showing of "Freedom Riders", http://www.freedomridersthemovie.com/Videos.html a film about a core group of riders who evolved from covertly building rough and unsustainable trails, to creating a precedent setting relationship with the Forest Service and creating some of the best Freeride trails in the country. We set out on our bikes, lights and all on a 5.5 mile ride to the event. It was an enjoyable ride, about 90% of the ride was on bike paths. We got to the film on time, drank a few beers with some new friends and then headed home around 11 after the film was over. The ride back was dark, but we were well prepared with lights and reflective gear. I think we're going to like riding our bikes everywhere!!The day started out volunteering at the Lyons Outdoor Games
